How amazing are these vintage souvenirs from Rhodes. Found them on a car boot in Otley. Both with little hanging chains.

I like to hold them really close to my face and stare at the detail. They are a bit freaky I suppose, but that is so my bag aha.

Laura Ashley forever

Laura ashley forever wonderful with their floral prints galore. This vintage find is a lovely high waisted skirt hovering perfectly just above the ankle.

Check out those hues...

1984 - Orwell

Finally found a copy. A charity shop in Alderley Edge which had a sea of them as a window display.

Had a lovley venture into Cheshire which is still quite alien to me.

This is Knutsford. Very lovely shoppies etc.

Got these three plates - birdiess. mmmm bird obsession strikes again.

My shop

I have an etsy.

I have opened for business.
Handmade, craft and vintage as I'm a bit of a magpie/hoarder. Currently getting updated daily.

The cards combine recycled materials and my own illustration.
I shall update on any other ventures.

Check Etsy for lovely artist's goodies. Really nice to see so much handmade, and so much design going on as well.

I am currently screen print mad and there's lots of that going on -really individual work.
Love it.

July update

I have finally regained spare time for CRAFT. So relaxing. Made cards and produced framed prints, but I've also started printing which I will soon share. These are DIY cake-stands inspired by Prima magazine. I liked one so much I decided not to sell it in the end. Anyway recommend this old chestnut. Bargain and recycles odd plates!!

This was my stall from saturday's Saltaire fair. Thoroughly enjoyed myself and everybody's very pretty things - this Saturday - TODMORDEN!

Manchester Museum sketchbook

Had a lovely few days at the Rocks and Minerals gallery at Manchester Museum. Not where you'd think you'd find a lot of artistic inspiration but I lovvveeedd it. Amazing surfaces, textures and colours all over. Natural forms really are all you need sometimes.

Theses are a few samples of my sketchbook works.

wall sticker joy

Such lovely prints, loads of lovely work! but the first thing I'd spied was this beaut. Its a wall sticker!!
